Foodbank

Foodbank - Open Porch

Holy Trinity & St Oswald’s helps with the Trussell Trust’s “Open Porch” scheme, collecting non-perishable food for those in need. Donations can be left in the church porch.

When to donate

Porch opening times

Pop in any time the porch is open and leave your donation in the collection point. No appointment needed.

Sundays

8:30am to 11:00am

Wednesdays (term time)

9:30am to 12:00 midday

Items most needed

Every donation helps. Below are the items currently in shortest supply - but please give whatever you can.

Tinned soup, vegetables, tomatoes, fruit, meat, fish, and rice pudding
UHT juice or dilute squash
Coffee and tea
Cooking sauces (pasta or curry)
Breakfast cereals
Biscuits
Extras: washing-up liquid, nappies, toilet roll, and feminine hygiene products
